Blue Gum Country Estate

Hidden in an undiscovered valley, and approached through rolling wheat fields from Stanford, this 130-acre private country estate comprises vineyards, pastures, river frontage and private mountain reserve. Blue Gum is a wonderful oasis where guests can walk in the mountains, cycle the farm tracks or laze by the pool before enjoying tea and scones in the conservatory and a leisurely game of tennis or boulle. Guests can enjoy a drink around the boma fire or on the scenic deck and and a delicious three-course dinner in the dining room. All 12 rooms have private verandas or garden patios. Comfort, luxury and attention to detail have been created by the use of percale cotton linen, rich fabrics and luxurious toiletries. The peace and beauty will encourage all guests to return.
