DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
From Cape Town International Airport, follow the N2 (east) in the direction of Somerset West.
Proceed along the N2 all the way over Sir Lowrey's Pass, through the Elgin/Grabouw fruit-growing area and down Houwhoek Pass.
Soon after reaching the bottom of Houwhoek Pass you will encounter the Hermanus / Botriver / R43 turnoff to the left.
Take this turnoff and continue along the R43 all the way to Hermanus.
Once in Hermanus, proceed along Main Road / R43, At the 1st traffic circle keep left on the R43 towards Stanford (past Standard Bank) At the next traffic circle keep right on the R43 towards Stanford.
A short distance along at the last traffic circle keep right into the Main Road and the Hotel is on the left hand side. Turn left here into the parking area of the hotel.
DIRECTIONS FROM CELLARS-HOHENORT TO THE MARINE
From Hotel, turn left into Brommersvlei road.
At the T-junction, turn left into Hohenort Avenue and keep driving until you get to the "Rhodes Drive, M63" sign, where you turn left.
Follow this road until you get to the T-junction, where you turn right into Rhodes Drive (M 63).
Drive down Rhodes Drive and take the left turn towards Kirstenbosch.
Continue along this road (past Kirstenbosch Gardens) until you reach a set of traffic lights.
Turn left into the M3, following the road for about 3 km and follow the "Airport / Hospital turn-off". Take this turning, following the sign for the N2.
Follow the N2 out of Cape Town, towards Somerset West.
Stay on the N2 when you drive through Somerset - West and drive up Sir Lowry's Pass. The pass will take you over the mountain and on your way to Grabouw and Elgin.
You will pass the Orchard, Peregrine and Houw Hoek farm stalls, after which you will drive up the Houw Hoek Pass.
After the Houw Hoek pass, there will be a left turn sign posted Hermanus.
Take the left turn and carry on straight with the road into Hermanus. You will pass the Kleinmond, Hawston, Onrus and Sandbaai turn-offs before you reach the town.
In the Main Road, you will get traffic lights where you can only turn left. Shortly after the main shopping area on the right, turn right at the four ways stop onto Marine Drive. You will see The Marine Hotel on the right hand side as you drive down Marine Drive.
DIRECTIONS FROM PLETTENBERG BAY TO HERMANUS
Follow the N2 (direction Cape Town) from Plettenberg Bay. The road will take you through/past the towns of Wilderness, George, Mossel Bay, Albertinia, Riversdale, Heidelberg, Swellendam and Riviersonderend.
Approximately 15km after Riversonderend, turn left onto the R326 to Stanford.
At the T-junction at Stanford you will turn right onto the R43 to Hermanus, following the R43 which becomes the Main Road of Hermanus.
Proceed along the R43/Main Road which will take you past a traffic circle and up to a 4-way stop which proceeds in to Hermanus Town Centre.
Turn left at the 4-way stop and the Marine Hotel will be on your left.
